I come to this work with a deep respect for the whole person. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in organizational change management, recovery coaching, and teaching — spaces where I learned to listen deeply, hold complexity, and support meaningful transformation. Across every role, my work has centered on seeing people in their wholeness and empowering them to become who they long to be. My superpower is presence: hearing what is spoken, and what lives just beneath the surface, quietly asking to be heard.
Why I Love to Serve
Since childhood, I have been aware of moments — and people — whose loving presence created a clear before and after in my life. Those experiences changed me. I love to serve because I know the peace and growth that come from being truly seen. In therapy, I offer that same grounded, empathic presence — a space where connection becomes the foundation for healing, growth, and authenticity.
Favorite Hobby
Hiking, writing, learning, reading, poetry, and being outside whenever possible. I love movement, dance parties, and playing with my kids — and I never pass up the chance to taste-test the best ice cream wherever I travel.
Favorite Animal
Orangutans — creative, intelligent, introspective, playful, and resourceful. And my dog, Ruby, who seems to know the soul of each member of our family.
What I Do in My Free Time
I spend as much time outside as possible — walking, hiking, or working out. I read, listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and love learning for learning’s sake. I make up silly games, play soccer, basketball, cornhole, and dance with my kids and friends. Every day, I take time to write, look at the sky, and say thank you.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Loma Linda University, and I strive to provide a compassionate, culturally attuned space for individuals, couples, and families. I am especially passionate about supporting perinatal and postpartum mental health, maternal well-being, and the transition into parenthood. As a mother of two, I understand the emotional complexity of early parenthood and am dedicated to helping new parents feel supported and less alone.
I also enjoy working with couples to strengthen communication and foster deeper connection, as well as supporting transitional age youth navigating identity, expectations, and life transitions. As an immigrant and first-generation college student, I bring sensitivity to cultural dynamics and generational experiences.
I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and relational, strengths-based approaches to help clients deepen emotional awareness and build healthier, more connected relationships.
Why I love to Serve
Coming from a culture where mental health is heavily stigmatized, I’ve learned how powerful empathy and emotional expression can be in building healthy relationships. I’m passionate about breaking cycles of multigenerational trauma and supporting underserved communities. Creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for people to process their feelings—rather than suppress them—is deeply important to me.
Favorite Hobby
I love learning new things, especially hands‑on crafts. I like to think of myself as a “Jane of all trades,” and my current project is learning how to sew.
Favorite Animal
Stingrays and manta rays have always been my favorite animals. I was once told that I embody the energy of a stingray—calm, grounded, and steady even when life around me feels chaotic. That description stuck with me, because stingrays symbolize emotional balance, intuition, and the ability to move gracefully through challenges.
They’re gentle creatures that glide quietly through the water, reminding me of the strength in staying composed and the power of responding rather than reacting. Their symbolism aligns with the way I try to show up for others: steady, empathetic, and attuned to the emotional currents beneath the surface.
What I do in my free time
In my free time, I love exploring San Diego—even though I grew up here, there’s always something new to discover. Most of my time is spent with my husband and our two boys, whether we’re walking by the lake, visiting children’s museums, or spending time with our extended family. I also enjoy unwinding by watching cooking videos and trying out new recipes I learn from them, especially Thai dishes.

Why I love to serve:
Serving others is an incredible honor. I learn so much from my clients and their stories, continually and collaboratively being reminded to serve in humility and love.
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in various forms." 1 Peter 4:10
Favorite Hobby:
I love exploring new coffee shops, spending time camping or hiking, and being immersed in nature whenever I can. I am always excited to learn new skills, whether its practicing guitar, gardening, crochet, or sports.
Favorite Animal:
As a child, my favorite animal was a bobcat. These days, I am drawn to gentle giants like horses and elephants. To me, they represent both strength and tenderness.
What I do in my free time:
As a grad student, a lot of my free time goes into studying, but I also make sure to make space for self-care (its so important!!!). Some self-care activities I enjoy are crafting, thrifting, and working out (also napping, I love a good nap).

A Little About Me
I was born and raised in San Diego, and I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Psychology: Emphasis in Neuroscience from San Diego State University. I am going to graduate in May 2026! I am utterly fascinated by the human mind and the inner workings of the brain, and I am eternally grateful for every opportunity I have to learn more about our most vital organ! I love being of service to others and I am beyond appreciative for the opportunity to be a research assistant here and help others achieve the healthiest version of themselves through neurofeedback.
Why I Love to Serve
I love to serve because through acts of service, I am able to connect deeply with others and Christ. As Christians, we are called to serve our communities through our passions, and I truly feel called to a life of service in the mental health field. Assisting others in their mental wellness, growth, and wellbeing is something I feel called to do.
Favorite Hobby
I have lots of favorite hobbies, such as reading books, singing, musical theatre, Pilates, listening to music, and attending concerts for my favorite artists!
Favorite Animal
My favorite animal is a typical house cat. I love cats, and I have been enamored by the species my whole life, having owned several cats over the years. I adore the comfort and calm they bring to a home. I have two cats right now, but I've had a total of five throughout my life!
What I Do in My Free Time
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, especially at the beach! I also pray daily, and frequently attend Adoration! Through prayer, I try to practice gratitude for the many blessings of daily life. I also love to read! My favorite book at the moment is Normal People by Sally Rooney. Music is also a particularly important part of my life. I sing in the choir at my local parish! I also attend concerts and collect vinyl from the discographies of my favorite artists. My favorite musical artist is Taylor Swift!
